SUNDAY FUN DAY (5K & 10K) April 21, 2024


WANTED: Volunteers!

Job Description – Meet new people, help with a variety of simple tasks, participate in a fun event, help those less fortunate than yourself, shake hands, smile a lot, have a blast. Sounds like a dream job! Click this box to sign up at VolunteerLocal!

MARATHON

The marathon will start at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday,   April 20, 2024. The race will start and finish on Emma Ave. in Springdale’s Downtown District.

HALF MARATHON

The Half Marathon will take in many scenic parts of Springdale, and also have a section entering Fayetteville before returning to the finish. Half Marathon starts at 7:00 am on Saturday, April 20, 2024.

SUNDAY FUN Day 5K RUN/WALK & 10K

The 5K Run/Walk & 10K run  SUNDAY, APRIL 21. Both will start & finish at Shiloh Square & Turnbow Park off Emma Ave. in Springdale, Arkansas.  The 10K will start at 7:00 am. The 5K run/walk will take off at 7:10 am using wave start. Runners who ran Saturday may also participate in the 5K or 10K. VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED if you would like to give back one day instead of running.

4 PERSON RELAYS

This event is designed for four-person teams, and will begin at the same time & place in Downtown Springdale as the Marathon, 7:00 AM, Saturday, April 20.  All relay finishers will receive a medal.

THE COURSE: SPRINGDALE, AR

The course takes runners past the city’s five major parks and, as in previous years, will include a portion of the Lake Fayetteville Trail. The course will be run primarily on Springdale streets, but sections will run through Johnson and Fayetteville, and a small portion of the 26.2-mile course will take place on the Razorback Greenway.

Hogeye Marathon & Relays is a Non-Profit organization with a 501 (C) 3 group certification.  A percentage of the proceeds  each year benefit a variety of charitable organizations for specific projects.

The Hogeye Marathon, Arkansas' oldest marathon, was founded in 1977. Northwest Arkansas charities benefit from the proceeds of the event, which brings runners from every state to the most beautiful part of Arkansas.
